“Rumba” is a 2000 AQHA CBHI nominated buckskin mare. If you are looking for a horse that is ready for some serious competion, this 'rodeo ready' mare is for you. Rumba has been futuritied and derbied, making the short go in Kamloops, Cardston, Stettler, Claresholm and Thorsby. She placed 10th in the 2007 Cranbook Pro Rodeo and has won and placed in the Chinook, FCA and CGRA Rodeo Associations. She placed well in the averages, has won a number of blankets, headstalls etc. in the open and youth 1D. At the 2008 ABRA Finals, she placed 12/430 in 1D open and 6/180 in the youth. Rumba is a willing, exceptional individual who will run to the rider's ability - youth or open. Good in the gate, easy to haul alone or in a group. Ridden in the bush, down the road, to chase cows, pony colts, and bareback. I have started her on poles and this winter plan to start steer undecorating and breakaway roping. Rumba loves kids!
